Cars everywhere

They go left, right, they cross, they accelerate or brake, they stand in front of the traffic lights, they park, … They definitely “dominate” the space within the cities all over the world.

The car industry has been developped so much that to me cars represent nowadays one of the main factors of stress. On top of that, one can see that the average is a driver per car hence increasing the acoustics level and smoke contamination. The counterpart should be of course to have a seamless public transport system to balance out the situation allowing people to leave their machines at home…

In a big city it is already hard to find a so called pedestrian street (only for people, no cars). Some actions have to be urgently undertaken by all governments otherwise it turns to be more and more uncomfortable to “live” as a pedestrian, cyclist or simply as a person!.
